Samsung is on fire mode today with back to back releases. It feels like a One UI 8 Tsunami 🌊🔥😂 rolling across Galaxy devices.

The stable One UI 8.0 (Android 16) update has now expanded in India with several smartphones and tablets receiving the update today. Alongside India, the rollout has also started in regions like Europe and Turkey for some models.

I get your frustration, and honestly me too 😅. Apart from the latest security patch and some under-the-hood improvements, One UI 8.0 doesn’t feel like a big jump compared to One UI 7. But the next update, One UI 8.5, is expected to be much bigger with more features, improvements, and even some visual changes to look forward to.

The rollout for One UI 8 is happening in phases, and it hasn’t reached all regions at the same time. Since your device is from Hong Kong, the update may take a little longer, but you should receive it soon as Samsung expands the rollout.

There’s no exact confirmed date for the Hong Kong model, since Samsung rolls out updates in phases region by region. But the Galaxy S24 series is already getting the One UI 8 update in other markets, so the Hong Kong variant will also receive it soon. It’s only a matter of time 👍.

A35 will get the update very soon. Only a few A-series models are left now, so there’s a high chance it may roll out this week, and if not, then definitely by next week.

A lot of A-series phones have already got the One UI 8 update, but the A35 is still in the pending list. Today is Thursday and tomorrow is Friday, so there's still a chance it may come this week. But if it doesn’t roll out by tomorrow, then next week is very likely for the A35.
