One UI 8 Stable Update Roadmap for Galaxy Devices

The Galaxy S25 series was the first to receive the stable One UI 8 (Android 16) update on 18th September. It is possible that other Galaxy devices will also get the update around their expected dates as listed below.

Galaxy S Series Galaxy :-

S25 series – from 18th September

Galaxy S24 series – from 25th September

Galaxy S23 series – from 2nd October

Galaxy S22 series – from 6th October

Galaxy S21 FE – from 16th October

Galaxy Z Fold 6 / Flip 6 – from 25th October

Galaxy Z Fold 5 / Flip 5 – from 2nd October

Galaxy Z Fold 4 / Flip 4 – from 6th October

Galaxy A Series :-

Galaxy A56 5G / A36 5G – from 25th September

Galaxy A55 5G / A35 5G / A26 / A17 / A17 5G – from 2nd October

Galaxy A54 5G / A34 5G / A25 5G / A16 5G / A16 / A15 5G – from 6th October

Galaxy A73 5G / A53 5G / A24 / A15 / A07 / A06 5G / A06 – from 16th October

This rollout is happening in phases, so dates may slightly vary depending on region and carrier.

Fold6/ flip 6 date is 25th September i think not October

The Galaxy S25 series received the One UI 8 update on September 18th, exactly on time as listed in the roadmap. This shows that the roadmap timing can be accurate. For other devices, it’s also possible they may receive updates on schedule, but the exact timing can vary depending on region, carrier, or Samsung’s internal rollout process. So overall, the roadmap gives a good idea of when to expect updates, but it’s not always 100% exact.

In my roadmap, the Fold6 and Flip6 are listed for October 25th as the expected date. If Samsung releases it earlier than that, it’s definitely good news for users. The roadmap gives a general schedule, but sometimes updates can arrive sooner.

This date is not specific to India, it’s a global expected release date from the roadmap (not official from Samsung). Since it’s global, India is included as well, but please note these are only expected timelines, not guaranteed. For example, the S25 series did receive its update on 18th September as mentioned in the roadmap, so it gives a good idea of when each device might get it. Still, actual rollout can vary.

Galaxy A07 was already included in the expected list I posted. The A06 got its update on 16th October as scheduled, and A07 is also in the same expected window. The rollout happens in phases, so A07 should receive One UI 8 soon, most likely within this month.
