&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Kindly follow the below mentioned steps to resolve the issue-&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;gt; If any screens guard/tampered glass/protection film is available then first disables the fingerprint settings and then removes the screen guard.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;gt; Once screen guard is removed now register the fingerprint again and check the issue&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;gt; Make sure to use the central fingerprint parts evenly when you register or scan fingerprint, so that all portions of fingerprint, including the center and corners have been fully scanned.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;gt; If problem does not get resolved, run the device in Safe mode and reconfigure the fingerprint.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;gt; If issue still persists, create data backup and reset the device.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;For further assistance, register your concern in Samsung members app (click on “+“icon&amp;gt;send feedback&amp;gt;Error report/ Ask Questions).&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>I have two mobiles A50s and A50. They generally fail to recognize finger prints and get locked for 30seconds.&lt;DIV&gt;There is 5% chance it will work in first attempt and 90%chance that biometric scanner locked for 30 seconds .&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

      <description>•check whether you have any pending software update&lt;BR /&gt; if you have to just update your software and remove and register the fingerprints again &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;•if you already have the latest software try removing and registering the fingerprints</description>
