Increasing Internal storage

Hi friends.. I m using Galaxy J7Max .. can anyone assist on how to increase internal storage from 32gb to 128 GB as my phone has capacity to expand till 256. Pls help thanks.

you can't increase internal storage. you need to use memory card to increase storage capacity.

you can increase internal storage by formatting your memory card to as internal storage ... but it's only possible if your phone have this function.
depends on android versions mostly..
but remember you can't remove memory card from your phone directly... otherwise it's a disaster for you.
because your memory card get converted as encrypted internal storage...
if you want to use it somewhere else then you have to format it as normal memory card.
but do this only if your memory card is of class 10 category.
it'll work properly and not gonna drop the speed of your phone.

but then when we buy phone it says expandable till 256 GB whts this ..coz specifications has two diff rows for internal storage and external one

this expansion is related to external storage... not to internal...
because internal storage must have encryption and it is safe only when it is on the phone hardware board...
so it cannot be removed easily..
for safety purpose...

mostly... external storage is for saving your media...that is eating your internal storage.
and internal storage is much faster then any other external storage...
but now in market ,faster memory card is also available.
