Hi Members,

We know how annoying is other storage huge data. This not only fills your device quickly but also make it slower.

There is no direct way to get it cleared, and the last option is to get your device factory reset but there is lot of hassle to factory reset. To avoid that I will try to help you with below steps.

Please do not skip any step and if you have any question at any step then let me know. I have performed these steps on my S23 so the options might difer on other devices so please bear with it and try to manage.

Now let's see the steps,

1. Clear invisible backup: Go to storage in settings. Then there is 2nd horizontal scrollable partition on screen. Scroll it towards right until you see invisible backups. Click on that and delete everything.

2. Download below app from playstore

3. Once downloaded above app go to the left most pane, file categories and delete all other files.

4. On the same page you will see database files. These are files created by whatsapp for local chat backup. Take whatsapp backup and then delete all these database files.

5a. This is the main step as in this step we will clear all the cache files which takes most of the space in our phone. In the above app go to 2nd tab i.e. storage statistics. Scroll down and you will see how much cache your apps have build. Click on clear cache and it will clear very few space for you.
Now click on each app go to storage and clear cache. Do not click on clear data as it will remove all the app data. Just click on clear cache of each app.

5b. If you don't want to do it manually then download below app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.a0soft.gphone.acc.free and click on clear cache. It will take atleast 30 minutes to 1 hr and will clear all the cache. Please note that it will ask for accessibility access to clear all cache automatically but do it on your on risk and remove the accessibility permission once the cache is cleared.

6. This is the last step. Till this step I hope your phone other storage is significantly reduced now. Now let's clear the cache partition of your phone. Switch off your phone>> connect it to laptop or another smart phone via usb>> once the charging percentage starts showing on your off phone>> long press volume up and power button simultaneously>> scroll down to wipe cache partition using volume down button>> once you reach reach at above option click power button>> click on yes using scroll and power button>> reboot from the same menu.
