SOT on Digital wellbeing and Device care app do not match..

What kind of calculation is being done by them?!

Because digital wellbeing is measured from 12 am daily
Samsung according to charging device

I'm glad that you answered that.. but.. I think you misunderstood..

Device Care app also shows data from 12am.. it has an option where you can select.. that..

There is something weird.. Those apps aren't calculating things right...

I noticed this too, what I believe is sot measures everything you do, when screen is on. Like reading notifications,widgets, customizing. ie even when apps are not opened.

On the other hand . Dw only measures the time spend in apps.

Check this for some days and see.

When u charge your device 0 to 100 and use then the results same as digital wellbeing
But when u charge use and repeat then samsung showing you sometimes screen on time 9.hour and battery drain is 110% like this

So measured after 100% charge ok

Nah.. it doesn't work like that.

If it's showing 110% (Battery usage) .. it means you have used 5500mAh (for Phone with 5000mAh battery) worth of energy.. doesn't matter if you have chanrged 0% to 100% ..OR..
Charged 50% to 80% ⚡
Consumed 80% to 30% = 50%
Charged 30% to 87% ⚡
Consumed 87% to 27% = 60%
(This cycle can vary more and more)
So, Total consumption: 50% + 60% = 110%

I'm also saying the same.

If u don't charge your device to 100% then it's showing this

You can check other devices too.
If u disconnect your charger before 100% they will show 12 hour 15 hour SOT (vivo phone)

@Galaxyprime bro.. your logic make sense.. if the apps were working correctly then they should have worked like what you have said..means, You are right.

But, I have checked :
I take 2 screenshots of both app with Interval of 3 minutes.. and during that 3 minutes.. I didn't use any app but the Homescreen.. but as you can see in the screenshots (focus on Status bar Time).. the data that the Device care app is showing is of 10minute (difference).. How is it possible!? I have used only 3min. (Homescreen) But It's showing be 10min.!

Clearly the Device app is showing wrong data.

Don't worry about it, this DW isn't efficient, and Coded within the system as Device care that's why this isn't showing accurate time of usage.
