Better stay on stock. Its hard to find stable and Custom rom without any problem. You performance may decrease

Anyways, Samsung has done that already with half backed updates, including camera. And it's a nealy 3 yr old device, so warranty is out of question. So I am thinking of giving it a try.

Oh. Samsung extend support for their devices so I believe you will still get solution of your problem. I have two samsung phone and very happy with that. Most of problems cause by our own settings we made..

Anyway, What you said i already did this in my other brands phones and trust non of them were good and stable. Sometime Sim card doesn't work, performance decrease for sure no matter which Custom rom you install and much more..

Then in last I decided to stay on stock rom use root features like magisk modules

I have used Custom ROM previously. I hardly faced any problem with Custom ROM. And those developers sovled reported problems quickly, unlike Samsung 😂. Now I am not sure so just asked if anybody has tried any of those ROMs.

would not recommend. I have tried so many custom roms in many phones including S8 and S9. If you root and install custom rom in samsung device then you will loose more than the gain. you will face issues in Samsung health, secure folder, banking apps, camera app etc
