Android 14/One UI 6 audio sampling

It's a well known fact that Android samples every audio file at 48 kHz. Just wanted to know whether with Android 14/One UI 6 update, this issue is fixed or not. Can we use high resolution audio streaming services like Apple Music and expect bit perfect streaming?

If u want higher sampling rate like 96 or 192khz go for external dac ..

The software itself resamples everything back to 48 kHz, so what's the use of an external DAC in that case?

The phone's hardware is capable, but software limits its capabilities.
Just search Android 48 kHz sampling issue and you will get my point.

The Latest Android update supports hi-res lossless and will play bit-perfect audio. Most of the External dacs can play up to 32bit/384Khz.

Can you share a screenshot where Poweramp is showing 24 bit/192 kHz sampling on your Samsung phone using Apple Music?

I recently read a post on some forum where a Pixel 8 user running Android 14 complained about resampling to 48 kHz issue.

I know this issue can be fixed using UAPP but it doesn't support Apple Music.

1. What Music app are you using, and are all those Hi-Res files already downloaded on your device and not being streamed?
2. What device are you using?
3. What's the brand of the external DAC that you are using?
4. I can clearly see that 44.1 kHz is being resampled to 192 kHz, so no bit perfect audio, as it's supposed to detect sampling frequency of the audio file automatically.
5. How did you get the first screenshot? Developer Settings?

No it's there in poweramp..i think this is only available for samsung devices

U r right UAPP is the only player rn on android that can stream upto 384khz without resampling...rn i have only 96khz so i tried it..

And i also got to know poweramp music player can also play without resampling but u need hi res audio
And poweramp equalizer doesn't hve the option so it is caped with 48khz cuz we all know android issue

It's direct rip off from tidal and qobuz or bug!

I don't have any app i joined few tele channels that only uploads k songs or they upload with requests
And it's very hard to find original rip off flac song...🫤 💀 it's very easy to get k songs or jpop but not English or hindi ... there are few bots which downloads spotify songs into flac 💀
There was also a bot for qobuz and tidal but its dead...
