Still Samsung not improved fingerprint in A50, it is very bad. Where our friends who own realme, oppo, vivo phone those are lower range , the fingerprint working lighting fast. I ashamed there for this feature,,and i once owned vivo y83 where i can control shutter speed . it is really bad Samsung

Your problem is only with speed or with registration of fingerprints??

In case if ur issue is only with speed then register the same finger two times. During registration give a deep press over the sensor. Then while u unlock ur device place ur finger for just a second over the sensor firmly, then the device gets unlocked instantly.

Note: Always try to keep ur finger dry.

Yeah.. Shutter speed control hasn't been given by Samsung, which is not acceptable but regarding fingerprint scanning, you can follow this trick.
Kindly add same thumb twice as it will improve the detection speed.
I personally use A50 and I have observed this.
I know it's not as fast as other phones but still it works fine.

Hi there,

Kindly follow the below mentioned steps to resolve the issue-

> If any screens guard/tampered glass/protection film is available then first disables the fingerprint settings and then removes the screen guard.

> Once screen guard is removed now register the fingerprint again and check the issue

> Make sure to use the central fingerprint parts evenly when you register or scan fingerprint, so that all portions of fingerprint, including the centre and corners have been fully scanned.
