I also use A30, and I am agree with you, This phone needs a night mode. The night time pictures are very bad

I don't think we'll get a night mode. If it was intended, we would have got it by now. A50 wasn't released with night mode, but got it later. A30s was released with night mode. I'm sorry to say, but don't hope for good photos from this phone. I've given up. Earlier, I used Redmi phones, and had GCam installed. I used to click so many photos. but now, I'm like, whatever.. the pic isn't going to be good anyway... dynamic range is limited, sharpness is not great, colours are faded, and have a particular tint, and almost all pics require editing, which is repelling for me, which in turn had made me take less pics..

BUT, to answer your question, it's probably better not to keep your hopes high. Between the M30 and the A50, the A30 is kind of lost, and doesn't seem to get the attention it should have..

I wish I was wrong about it... moreover, if you have got the notice...One UI 2.0 for A30 is delayed by one month...so, we're supposed to get it in February... I won't hold my breath for it... Samsung doesn't have a good record of keeping up with these dates 🤣🤣🤣🤣
