Hello Members,

If i have bought a used phone under warranty in India, how do I transfer the ownership of warranty in my name.

Get details from the one u borrowed the phone. if not available, call up service centre, tell him ur details. He 'll have a database about purchase of ur fone... Voila...

That i have verified. But the bill and warranty are still in other person's name. How do I get that changed at Samsung's end.

I guess if you've the original bill for the device, warranty and purchase that should be enough.

Sometimes. The insurance doesn't works at all. For a high cost device you would always want to get that insured.

As long as you have the invoice, its enough. If you need warranty repairs, they will use the person's name that is on the bill, but you can provide your contact number for communication purposes.
