I am not sure about your device because you have not mentioned your device name..but you can use stamp section for it..
open gallery>select any image>click on edit pen>now at the bottom select stamp/sticker>in this click on calendar icon>here you will gonna find date option..
or
if your device supports watermark setting, check it inside camera settings..
