A Change In Samsung's Software Update Policy Is Required

Keeping all the rumors aside, which were all user generated and mistake from Samsung's UK twitter account (which they later addressed when another user asks the same), not even a single inside news/leak was there from Samsung, Samsung should do a serious change in update policy as other Android manufacturers are catching in updates. Just for example, Motorola is given bimonthly update (1 update per 2 months) for 3 years nowadays to it's devices even starting at 10k INR.

Samsung it's high time to change software update policy and give 3 major OS updates to Galaxy M3x and above (if not all), by either changing policy for existing devices, or for devices launched next year.

Also, you should give monthly updates to Galaxy M3x/A3x and above devices for atleast 3 years and rest quarterly updates.

It always pisses me off that the upper midrange and midrange galaxy devices like A71, A72,A73, and A51 gets Quarterly security patches and then shifted to biannual after 2 years. It is not at all justfied for the price they pay.

A51 a71 shifted to biannual
But s10 series still in quarterly itna bhed bhav samsung karta hai

Vahi to yrr. Samajh nahi aata. Chalo Maan liya S10 flagship series hai to uska chalega. Lekin A50 ko 3 saal tak monthly patches mile, aur iss saal bhi har 1 ya 2 mahine pe update mil rha hai.

Vahi A51 suruat se hi quarterly list me daal diya.

Reason:- A50 enterprise model hai aur A51 nahi.

Because a50 was more popular than a51 popular devices get updates for longer than unpopular devicves

Not true. Popularity has nothing to do with that. Even not so popular7 samsung devices gets timely updates, and sometimes most popular devices do not get it. For eg. A12 is the most selling device of samsung, still it hasn't got Android 12 update yet. And A51 was much popular device, more popular than A50. A5x is generally a popular device by samsung.

Models designed for enterprises or in laymann's terms, for employees of certain companies. Like some companies required their employees to have the latest security patch every month, as they use their phone is used for work purposes.
