OneUI Suggestion #10: Gallery Timeline

The stock Gallery app sorts media by Creation Date in the Pictures (all media) tab. There is no setting to sort by Last Modified date.

This is a problem when we download files from the internet. If the file downloaded has an old creation date, it just doesn't show up in the Pictures tab on top, and it is inconvenient to locate it there. But if sorting by Last Modified date is available, then it will show where one would expect it to be.

As you can see, both pictures were downloaded today, but the one at the bottom shows up way way down in the Pictures tab of stock Gallery app. Almost impossible to locate it there.

But if sorting by Last Modified date is available within the Pictures tab, it would show up right on top as follows:

A setting like above should be available for the Pictures tab too. Don't know why such basic features are left out by OEMs in their stock apps.

These pictures remind me of something hilarious. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
