Hi Friends

I have a doubt about Extra dim feature,

In realme phones there is a feature called DC dimming, it gives us a caution that it may lead to some issues like auto brightness issues and screen display issue.

Whether extra dim is similar to that does it cause any issues to the display on long term usage at night. Since AMOLED displays are costlier to replace

Dc dimming is whole lot different, it prevents PWM flickering which affects the health of eyes.

Pwm flickering is common in every amoled/oled screen, lower the brightness worse the pwm

Samsung doesn't give dc dimming is a shame

Extra dim only lowers the brightness than normal thats it
