So how are you all? Epic? So let's go!

So FPS i.e. Frames Per Second ok👍 ! That's the full form of the acroname. ,qny of you might have heard this in context of gaming or video or screens!

But what exactly is FPS!?

FPs , actually a video, basically isn't a video or a moving stuff at all! A video is a collection of images , yes , still images just like a photograph 📸! Taken and played in sequence at a particular rate of images per second on the screen and it appears as a continuous motion video! The number of images, still images shown or dropped per second on the screen to create a illusion of movement is called FPS , Frames Per Second!

Now there are screens with various refresh rates like 15Hz, 30Hz, 60Hz(common), 90Hz, 120Hz, 144Hz! This refreshing rate is also the FPS! More the refreshing rate of screen more the FPS more smooth is scrolling and video playback experience but more is the battery 🔋 consumption.

Now people ask how to check FPS of current display?

It's simple 😌!

Open settings ⚙ 》Developer Options 》 Current Display refresh rate

If Developer options not enabled then go to about device in settings and tab build number about 7 to 10 times and you will get a prompt saying Developer mode enabled.

You can also use apps called FPS Meter to see fps while using some app or playing some game in real-time!
