Smartphone Basics...

Hello community!

When I browse through smartphone forums, I come across posts with similar problems REPEATEDLY. Almost everyday there is atleast a few posts complaining about heating, lagging, battery drain, etc. Likewise, there are other complaints too which are repetitive in nature, most of which can be solved at the user end (fortunately).

In this post, I will share links to educational/ informational write-ups on explanations/ solutions to common problems. Additionally, there will be links to my other posts that you may find interesting. I'll keep this updated as more and more content is added. These are Samsung Community links and point to posts within the forum.

I write posts with the hope that they will be helpful in resolving problems. Whatever I write have been tried and tested to work.

The lines on screen terrify me. There are just too many people complaining about it just after an update. This is usually a hardware problem, unlike the green tint issue (which too can be a hardware problem).

The other thing that terrifies me is the camera degradation after an update.

No app can solve a hardware problem.

Well I had one too
But it was solved by an app
Samsung said screen replacement is the only way which costs 18k but i did it using an app.

If it is a hardware problem, no app can fix it. At best, such apps can hide the problem.

In your case, if the app indeed fixed it for you, then yours wasn't a hardware problem. Do you have any pictures to share?

Mystic is right, that green line issue looks like a hardware issue, but it mainly is appearing after UI 4 update I guess(need more confirmation as I'm not /aware of people getting green lines without updating, so it might be a combination of software+underlying hardware issue waiting to emerge after the said update).
Then about the camera degradation, I've not experienced it(maybe i should check it on my PC at 100% zoom) but many have seen it own their devices, it is also a major issue, but as always the manufacturers are never saying anything n they would probably never until any technews agencies pick the news up n create a controversy.

And if u solved that line issue with an app why don't you share it with the affected people, make a post maybe, it would be useful more many 🤔.

Fortunately i used the app for long enough to make sure the screen runs fine without having it as the screen is now like adapted I guess
But when battery is low i will take a pic
And send you in dms and also a pic showing with app on

Samsung said it was a hardware Problem when I went to the official Samsung Service Center.

Yes but the thing is my solution i had for this issue is the app i use.
So it works only for the note Series apparently.
I found the fix for Samsung note.

In past years, I loaded Custom ROMs in 2 of my older device which caused same green vertical lines on screen...
.
This is permanent damage... Screen replacement is only option i suppose
