Hoping that you all are good and doing well :-)!

So let us talk about privacy!

Hummmmm 🤔 Privacy!

So first of all, What is Privacy.

Privacy in simple terms is that your personal data is secure and doesn't get into unwanted hands.

Now as per a statical study :

"An Android Phone Sends 20X (times) more data than an Apple iPhone"

And if we check for communication with servers,

"On An Average, Every 4.5 seconds Your Phone Communicates With Servers "

So the next natural question that arises in your mind is obviously

Hmm.... what kind of data it does exchange with the server?

Here is the answer,

1) Crash and analytical data.

2) Data collected by Google for security or optimization purposes.

3)Google AdSense and AdChoices Ads data and Advertising ID.

4) Some information with the servers of the manufacturer (mostly for security and providing updates).

5) Personal Information like IMEI Number etc (for security reasons).

Now the next natural question!

Purpose of Collection!

1) Crash and log for a more bug-free experience. In short Updates!

2) Ads as from the name are clear! For more personalized ads! (Which most users hate)(seriously who wants and in the system UI.)

3) Security Pourpouses like checking off an attempt to h@©kİNg (Samsung Knox)!

But But But..... there aren't always good people but Hackers around!!!

Now how to check for privacy?

Here I am shortlisting some good privacy practices for general users.

1) DO NOT GIVE MORE THAN REQUIRED PERMISSION TO THE APP WHICH YOU INSTALL! (steps at end)

2) ALWAYS INSTALL APPS FROM GOOGLE PLAY STORE OR SAMSUNG GALAXY STORE AND NOT FROM ANY UNRELIABLE SOURCES! (APKMIRROR ISN'T A BAD SOURCE ITS TRUSTED AND DOESN'T SELL MALWARE)

3) MUST READ THE PRIVACY POLICY, THE END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA), THE TERMS OF CONDITION, AND THE TERMS OF SERVICE.

4) USE STRONG PASSWORDS AND NEVER REPEAT PASSWORDS ON ANY OTHER WEBSITE. PASSWORD MUST BE OF SUFFICIENT LENGTH AND NOT TOO EASY TO GUESS!

5) ONE CAN USE BIOMETRICS AND SAMSUNG PASS ON A SAMSUNG KNOX-ENABLED DEVICE!

6) ONE CAN USE APPS LIKE MICROSOFT AUTHENTICATOR Play Store:(Microsoft Authenticator - Apps on Google Play) Samsung Galaxy Store (Microsoft Authenticator (samsung.com) ).

HOW TO DISABLE UNWANTED PERMISSIONS!

long press on any app iconclick on that (i)click on permissionsclick to disable
