Ideators : SMS app enhancement

I wish the current SMS App had the following features:

Schedule SMS so that I can schedule it and forget. This helps when suddenly the user realises that he needs to text someone but it's too late or its not appropriate to msg at that time or if it's a birthday wish at 12 midnight and the user is going to sleep soon....
GUI improvement to make it more user friendly and intuitive
include various Themes so that one can select the theme according to his likes and preferences
Reminder system. Like if I've got a message that requires an action from my side on a future date/time, then it would be really great if I could set that message as a reminder from there itself. This will make this Messager app a fully integrated one!
Different notification tone for individual contacts so that without even looking at the message I can make out whether this needs my immediate attention or not?!

Which model?. My S20FE has scheduled message option. Different sound for individual contact only for ringtone only.

All these ideas would be useful for internet messenger as no one is today's digital age uses sms for texting. They are only used for otps, and sometimes promotional messages

I understand. However, I do use it a lot because of two reasons. 1. Parents are not comfortable with WhatsApp and 2. I like SMS's simplicity, they don't get bombarded by forwards and images and videos. The communication is strictly to the point.

You might be in the minority then. Since many users have migrated to internet messengers, I don't think it will be a priority for Samsung to implement the features that you are suggesting

Agreed. But there's no harm in putting my point to the finest innovators and who knows, we may see it coming in the future updates! 🙂
