If you are on Android 8 or below than rooting can be a good choice. I am telling this because, most of the devices will still get updates and security patches and rooting may stop it.<BR /><BR />Also Knox apps like Samsung Secure, Samsung Pass, Pay etc. will be disabled and you can't access them. Most of the apps will crash sometimes and get errors. Hackers can easily **bleep** your device and can easily steal your data.<BR /><BR />Also if interrupting system files can cause problem to your phone.<BR />So my opinion is don't root phones that are in update cycle. If it was Android 8 or below, then it could be a good option.
