S20 July Update: Review

So I received the July update a couple of days back. The update was labelled as "Camera Improvement and Security Update" Here are the improvements/ changes I noticed:

1. Samsung indeed improved the Camera, I could capture some sharp images of Moon this time. Also, Night Photography picture quality have improved impressively. Have a look at the pictures below.

2. Samsung brought back dual recording. Both cameras can shoot videos simultaneously. A feature many would appreciate.

3. Less heat. Infact my phone didn't heat up at all, it's running fine and is cooler than ever. Thanks for resolving heating issue.

4. Charging got some problem, it's taking a bit longer to charge up. Don't know if it has got anything to do with heating issue being resolved. But I can bear slow charge as long as it keeps my phone cool.

5. Samsung didn't fixed the Auto Brightness issue in this update too. The brightness won't go down completely in a complete dark room, I've raised the issue earlier, even reported it through feedback. Samsung forgot to work on it.

6. Also, it seems the update has made slight changes in the settings menu. I see the options being clubbed and separated by space.

PS: I don't know if they changed the Power Off animation or not, cause, after the update when I pressed power off and whole new red power off symbol appeared. But, after the update I reset my phone, and the changed logo was gone, the old one appeared back. If it was changed intentionally, give it back, that was cool, I lost it to resetting the phone.

Its very bad moove by samsung. That devise is eligible to receive this update. What made them to stop adding fetures to all their flagship devises.

I think the director mode is hardware dependent. So may be thats not available. If it is software related, then could be in 3.1.1 which we shall receive that.

Yes.its hardware dependant and s20fe has all required hardware such as telephoto lens and ISP to handle it. They deliberately disabled it
