Heya folks,

These days spammers and fakesters are everywhere, and our sole duty is to remain alert all the time.

Recently, it has come to the forefront that some people are making false accounts, with names like "samsung care". They are spreading malicious links, especially in response to any fellow members issues. Making unreal accounts these days is no big deal!!

Make sure to never click on those links, as they are malicious, it may harm your device.

Hence, to make sure that this community remains safe, here are some valuable tips 👇🏻👇🏻

Only rely on the news in the "Notice" section.
There are various admin posts pinned on the home page, make sure to follow those only.
If you face any issues, ask any of the BRAND AMBASSADORS( the ones with a purple star).

N.B. The admins are working on this, it will be resolved soon. So, be aware!! 💯💯

Don't self promote yourself. What do you mean by 'relying only on BAs advice'? . There are many other non-BA members here who are equally knowledgeable if not more. Don't generalise things up just because one member is a scammer/spammer. Anyways, thanks for letting us know about the fakester.

Firstly, this isn't a self promotion. Secondly, I do agree there are many other Non BA's who are knowledgable. So, this isn't a post sidelining them.This is just an awareness post, bcoz many may not understand the difference between a genuine user and a **bleep** user. ✌🏻

Didn't expect this from you. This could have been said in a nicer way. No one other than spammers are here for self promotion. And to some extent, it's true that BAs can be 100% relied on, while other users can't be. Even when I was not a BA, I asked people to not rely on me all the time, because I could be wrong, but as a BA, it's our duty to provide verified information and solutions. You should have behaved in a better way.

Nowadays they claim to use AI in mobile phones... and automation routines... how difficult can it be to delete all posts from identified member... It's not only embarrassing but shows incompetence...
I have already reported one spam message and it's still there...

OK. I get it why you are upset. OP had written the exact statement which I placed within quote. He later edited it. He asked to rely only on BAs, that's why I said that. I don't have any grudge against any of the BAs, it's just the word 'only' that I am against. Hope you understand.

Why don't you try to build an AI engine to do so? It takes time. Even if the user is banned, the person can create another ID, and that's what we are trying to stop. "How difficult can it be", never question that please, ever, its a humble request.

I had to. I didn't like the BA-only tone. Had I seen this edited post now, I would have moved on after throwing a like on it. Anyways, since she edited those lines, I hope she also didn't mean that in the first place.

Hey, with reference to the other conversations with another BA here on this post and seeing your edited post, it is obvious that you didn't mean to say it that way. So, I retract my statement. 😊
However, it is a courtesy to update or make any correction to original post separately preceding with an Edit#:, especially when the post is already commented upon. That way, it saves the misunderstandings from happening later. Peace. ✌️

I don't think "relying on BA's" was something wrong. You maybe intelligent enough to understand the difference between a real and false user. Others may not be. And at the end, it's all perception, the way we perceive things or statements. Some found it wrong, some didn't. So as BA's, it's our duty to make them aware. Now the people can decide, on whom to rely. But just one thing that stay away from false messages, that's it. This was the main motto of this entire post, but some deciphered it wrongly.
