Power saving mode drains more battery

Yesterday night I had 27% battery left. So, I turned on power saving mode with limited apps and home screen. When I woke up in the morning after almost 7 hours, I saw the battery was at 10%.

This is not the case normally. When I keep the 'limit apps and homescreen' off, it drains around 5% overnight. Is this a bug??

Update #1: someone suggested to turn off adaptive battery. I did. Now it has drained 10% (57 to 47) overnight for about 7.5 hours.

I have seen this happen personally on my Galaxy A50, but in my case it was during the day. Samsung works in mysterious ways bro 🤣🤣🤣

Ya it's not a bug it's actually a clash between the power saver mode and adaptive battery.
If u turn on both adaptive battery and power saver mode it will drain more battery at night in standby mode.
Try to disable adaptive battery in night during standby, it will consume less battery.

Yes. All options inside power saving mode were turned on.

Turn on airplane mode and your phone will drain 0-2%. Just try it!

See, you have turned on both power saving and adaptive battery. I think these to battery savers are crashing and causing the battery drain.
So this night kindly try turning off one of the options it can work

I did turn off adaptive battery. Not a huge improvement though. Over 7.5 hours, the battery drained 10%.

Help me I am also facing same issue in my a50s. Overnight battery drain is around 18% .

Put all useless apps to deep sleep. Don't turn on adaptive battery if you have turned on adaptive power saving.
