Need native app lock, not secure folder. For One UI 3.0 and above

Without using secure folder and without using any third party app can there be a native app lock by pattern, pin or finger print option, this is very handy feature when privacy is the need.

Still wondering how this useful feature missed an inclusion on flagship phones too.

not sure why it's restricted in flagship model bro but you can try to download the apk from external sites like sammobile/apkmirror if you didn't try that...

Thank you, for suggesting, but its not working unfortunately, hence I look forward to an official solution, so wrote this post. I believe people having flagships have tried many ways, just felt this feature is missing natively

you can use hidden feature of native applock. install activity launcher < select 1st option < do apply

Thanks for the suggestion, but prefer No additional or Third Party Apps, the ask is Native Option, if 3rd party apps, beats the purpose of the post

you can uninstall that 3rd party app. it is used just to enable app lock which is hidden by default.

As I understand from Activity Launcher, most forums suggest AppLock as an entry to be searched for, but the AppLock entry is not seen in activity launcher too, or I may be missing something here,

has anyone done this succesfully for s20 or s20plus, please drop in the steps

The AppLock as described in the video is not there. That's the reason this is kind of not working and this post is for.
