[Innovation Lab #5] - Share your ideas with us in #InnovationLab!

Hello Members!

Our community is a great place to discover new and innovative ideas for our devices and services.

Innovation lab is a simple way for you to share your ideas directly with our teams.

In week 5 of #Innovationlab, we are requesting you to share your ideas for the following five themes:

1. Samsung Gallery: Usability, proposals and other feedbacks
2. Multi Window: Usability, functions, proposals and others
3. Samsung Care+: Feedback, requests and competitive arguments
4. One UI 3.0: Usability & suggestions on features.
5. Smart Things: Usability & improvement suggestions.

As a Galaxy user, feel free to suggest any improvement, new feature or make a request which you feel will help us improve the devices.

All you need to do is :

Create a post detailing your idea/suggestion
Include illustrations/diagrams/images or any detail you feel will help us understand it better
Include #InnovationLab in your post title/subject

We will go through all your suggestions to bring significant improvements. Week 5 topics will be open till 14th February. Week 6 topics will be announced later.

buggy software in Galaxy M51.
100 of software bug's n issue's.
no one listens in Samsung Member app.
so how can they improve their services on behalf of customers problem which we r facing!!

#InnovationLab samsung gallery

1--Pin/password/Pattern for hide/unhide and Recyclebin button.

2--Enable hide /unhide option for camera,screenshots and downloads folder in gallery.

3--Add an option wheather we want to hide/unhide a entire folder or individual photo/video .

4--Add sort by 'size' option for photos and videos in gallery app.

5--Add an option so that we can know the size of a folder in gallery.(Right now only available in my files app).

6--Add 'Remove unwanted object' to photo editor and some basic option to it.

7--Add some basic option in video editor. CROP option is one of them.

8--Add gesture so that we can rotate a photo with our finger.

9--A square shape option appear when we zoom a video and it creates problem if we want to take a screen shot or watch that zooming portion.

So either remove it or give us an option wheather we want to keep it or not.

I would recommend following changes / suggestions:

1)Samsung Gallery: The edit feature doesn't allow full control to the photographer- lacks value curve, levels, sharpening etc.

2)Multi-window: typing something in a window while looking at another in split view isn't convenient -upon switching windows keyboard covers viewing area.

Miscellaneous suggestions:
1. copying specific text in sms is still not easy.
2. Camera should allow for saving as Raw images.
3. The A71 pictures lack detail in general. The pixel boundaries appear smoothed and not defined. Highly disappointing for a oneplus nord rival.
4. Bixy routines should have more options to set triggering events. Also, it isn't reliable as of now, only few times events work as defined.

On the recent calls list. the icons for received calls, missed calls and outgoing calls all are shown in same blue colour icon. as the icons are small its difficult to differentiate quickly. if the missed calls are red and outgoing are green icons. it will be time saving. I couldn't find settings to change that. please help

Here is My Opinion About The Features To be Included In :-

(SAMSUNG Galaxy M51 One UI Core 3.0 Update)

1.Edgelighting.
2.Increase of Brightness in Downloaded Always-on-Displays.
AOD Panels should be More Brighter.
3.Optimised and More Beautified as well as Stable Performance on Android 11 Skin with New Features and More Stabilized, Organised as well as more Beautified Version of this Old Android 10 Skin.
4.All System Apps should be Updated and the Latest Features should be provided.
5.Network Connectivity should be Improved.
6.WiFi-Calling should be supported for Vi, Airtel, BSNL, Jio users.
7.Samsung Pay and some more features from One UI could be added to One UI Core users as well, as we spend a Handsome Amount in Galaxy M51.
8.Music Player and Speaker's Performance could be Improved by enhancing the Bass in Speaker, In Headsets only the Dolby Atmos is supported, so at least we could get a better Bass Output with Speaker Grill as well.
9.Camera UI should be improved and New Features like AI and More Beautifications could be added so that people don't have to download Third-Party Camera Apps for Good Photos.
10.Gallery could be Improved.
11.Smart Assistant like Color OS could be Added in the Left Swipe of the Homescreen.
12.UI needs much improvement. It looks pretty Old Version and New Things should be introduced for Customizations and Personalisations.
13.Phone, Contacts and Calling UI as well as features should be Modernised.
14.Samsung Browser is bit Buggy. It needs to improve and become more Optimized and Beautified.
15.Updates should be more Frequent in the device as we have to wait long for getting them. Regular Updates with Enhanced Features could do well for the Device Personalisation as well as Performance.
16.New Features should be added Regularly to keep the User Interested in the Smartphone.
17.Addition of Real-Time Network Speed as well as Stylish Fonts in the System Library.

Hopefully, We would very soon be Updated with the One UI Core 3.0 with Android 11 skin as it has been a long time we have not seen an update in the device.

The Aforementioned Points, Notes and Features should hence be noticed so that it could help our device become more Stable, Optimized, Faster, Future Proof and Futuristic as well as Featuristic.

1-Inbuilt screen recording.

2-Pin option for 'hide/unhide' button in gallery and my file app to make privacy more secure.

3-More option in photo and video editor.

4-S secure app is not that secure bcoz any one can uninstall it.So make it inbuilt.Provide wallpaper option for s secure lock screen.

5-Inbuilt internet speed and data usage meter.

6-Provide option wheather a person want to keep full screen contact image or circle shape small image.

7-Bharat has different state with different festival and language.So provide it in your calender accordingly.

8-Provide a option to block messages which are coming without any number .

Instead of going to setting to block a message this option should appear on the message itself(when we press a message) .

9- Recyclebin for deleted massages.

10-Right now in 'contacts recylebin' deleted contacts can stay their only for 15 daya plz increase that to minimum 60 days.

11-Camera shutter sound on/off button .

12-Zip and unzip an app taking too much time plz make it faster.

These are some of the basic(not flagship) suggestion which are already present in other companies 6000-7000 range phone but we are not getting it in our 16000-18000 range phones (specially m series) .

Hope you will provde it in future update. @Admin

Needs following improvements:
1) Carrier aggregation should be added for betterment in M-Series.
2) Screen recording features should be added.
3) Date & Time Stamp in camera photos.
4) app lock.
