Google suggests minimum number of updates, not maximum.

🤣 what are you saying bro ? that device already got 2 major os so how you expect more than 2 ? that totally depends on Samsung + Google agreement policy....3 major os starts from s10 line-up only

I do know that according to new policy, devices from s10 onwards are eligible for 3 years of updates.

But, this does not mean Google will not allow Samsung to provide updates to older devices like s9, etc.

Android is open source, Samsung can proactively provide an update to earlier devices if they want to.

If there is enough demand from customers, companies do listen.

Moreover, this is just a suggestion.

yes they can allow because that device have better criteria than bogus note20 also but unfortunately they didn't
