      <description>I do know that according to new policy, devices from s10 onwards are eligible for 3 years of updates.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;But, this does not mean Google will not allow Samsung to provide updates to older devices like s9, etc.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Android is open source, Samsung can proactively provide an update to earlier devices if they want to.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If there is enough demand from customers, companies do listen.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Moreover, this is just a suggestion.</description>
