I know this, and I truly appreciate your practical advice. While I understand that the official support cycle has ended and millions of devices are in the same boat, my post is more than just a technical request. It is a testament to the hardware’s durability. Even if Samsung sticks to its policy, sharing this feedback serves as a "thank you" to the brand for a product that still lasts 12+ hours on 80% charge.
Regarding your last paragraph, I realize that posting here won't magically trigger a software release. However, as a loyal customer, I believe in voicing my experience. If enough of us highlight that our hardware is still capable, it might encourage Samsung to reconsider their support longevity for future mid-range devices. For now, I will follow your advice and keep using this reliable phone until it’s time for a new one!

Hello Samsung Family,

I have been using the Samsung Galaxy F23 5G since June 2023, and it has been an incredibly reliable companion. Even today, the battery management is phenomenal! By consistently using the 80% battery protection feature to maintain health, I still get over 12 hours of backup even with heavy internet usage. This truly speaks to Samsung’s engineering quality.

However, I do face one challenge—the display brightness. It is difficult to read the screen under direct sunlight, and I often have to find shade just to see the display clearly.

I sincerely request the Samsung Team and the Community to consider providing the Android 15 update for this device. With the latest software optimizations, I believe the display performance could be further improved. A device that is so well-maintained and still delivers elite battery life deserves one more major OS boost!

Friends, if you agree that this great hardware deserves Android 15, please support this post!

Best regards,

A proud Samsung User.

Pruthvisinh Gohil.

🙏💐

Sadly Samsung doesn't provide updates to your device now. It has reached the end of software support. Now, for new update either you can buy new device (today they are coming with 6 years of OS upgrades) or use custom roms (to get update unofficially).

Personally I would recommend you to keep using the device until you upgrade it with new phone (in next 2 to 3 years) or give this phone to someone needy (in your family or friend) and buy a new phone.

Writing here unfortunately doesn't give you a software update. There are millions of devices that have potential to get a update (they will work fine even after update) but they don't get it because officially they've reached the end of software update cycle as promised by the company.
Yeah. Samsung has realized that. Samsung is already giving 6 years of OS updates even to budget smartphones. Don't worry, next time you buy a Samsung phone, you will get a minimum of 6 years of OS and 6 years of security updates. And in the premium segment it's 7 years.

You can search for a budget Samsung phone. Even a phone of lowest price, they offer 6 years of OS upgrades. That's crazy i believe. No other company gives that much to their budget smartphones.
So next time you buy a Samsung phone, you are going to have a great experience in terms of software support. 😀
