Higher models have larger screen and powerful CPU, RAM,Storage, more cameras calling for higher battery capacity unlike low end versions.

For example S24 has 4500 mAh battery while S24U has 5000 mAh

If this reply answered your query please tap 3 vertical dots to the right of my reply and tap "Resolved".
Not nessacerily. If hardware demand they will be forced to increase. It is important to note that larger battery does not nessacerily mean longer "Phone on time" but rather efficient utilisation of existing capacity using for example, power saver, adaptive brightness, switching off AOD, options to disable device scanning, WiFi scanning etc.

If this reply answered your query please tap 3 vertical dots to the right of my reply and tap "Resolved".
Logically yes but one UI 7.0 must be running power efficient algorithms to offset power demand of snap dragon. They would be using variable clock speed to cater to different usage pattern thus reducing load and heat. Talking of heat. This is another important aspect contributing to power consumption. If a component runs hot it shows the power utilisation is poor converting electrical energy to heat, thus reducing component life and life of the phone itself.

If this reply answered your query please tap 3 vertical dots to the right of my reply and tap "Resolved".
Its just same capacity, not quality. Technologies change with time. And also those are tricks of the brand to hold customers and force them to buy a new device. If batteries and processor and camera all will be good then no one will change their smartphone till 5 years.
