F23 wi-fi and Hotspot not working after update open ui 6.1

F23 Hotspot and wifi not starting and also take automatic restart after update open ui 6.1. I study regarding this by goggling and found this is general issue created by samsung open ui 6.1 it self. Most of the f23 user having the same issue. I am asking samsung to please immediately release new resolved version of open ui 6.1 to fix our this issue, other wise we will go to consumers forums as a team.

Talk to consumerhelpline number...i am planning for the same...no ownership, no proper updates...they didn't even provide VoNR support.

As per your concern, we want to inform you that you can use wi-fi or hotspot one option at the same time, However, we are taking your valuable feedback regarding this. And, kindly follow the below-given steps to resolve your issue.

Galaxy device connectivity issue: 1. Please check if the router is working properly. If there is a problem with the AP router trying to connect to Wi-Fi, the connection may be lost. So, check again after restarting the AP router you are using.

2. Make sure your phone is within the Wi-Fi range of the router. If there is a lock inside the Wi-Fi network icon, it is a password-protected network. When entering the password, be careful and enter it correctly. Wi-Fi passwords are case-sensitive.

3. Next to the Wi-Fi network you are trying to connect to is an icon that indicates the strength of the signal. Having a weak signal may cause connectivity issues. If you are receiving a weak signal, try moving closer to the Wi-Fi source and connect again.

4. You can use the Samsung Members app to diagnose Wi-Fi connectivity issues. Open the Samsung Members app, go to ‘Support’ and tap ‘Phone diagnostics’, and select ‘Wi-Fi’ to test it.

If the Wi-Fi network that you want to connect to is not appearing, there is likely an issue with your Wi-Fi signal or router.

1) Switch off your Wi-Fi router at the wall and wait 2-3 minutes before turning it back on. Once the router has successfully connected to the internet again, try to connect to your network on your phone.

2) Some Wi-Fi routers support both 2.4GHz and 5GHz. Most Galaxy devices will switch between these channels automatically when required. For example, when you are closer to the router your device will switch to 5GHz and swap to 2.4GHz when further away.

3) Make sure there is no interference between the router and your phone. Concrete walls, fridges, and microwaves can all interrupt the Wi-Fi signal.

4) If possible, try and connect your device to a different Wi-Fi connection. If you can connect, you should contact your Wi-Fi provider for more assistance.

2. If you are connecting to a home Wi-Fi network, check if the other devices you own can connect. If you are unable to connect with any of your devices, the issue is likely with your Wi-Fi.

If the router and Wi-Fi network are working without problem but the phone still does not connect, please restart the device.

And you may try resetting the Wi-Fi settings on the phone. Please make sure that you have the correct Wi-Fi password before resetting it.

*Path to Reset settings: Settings > General management > Reset > Reset Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings > tab ‘Reset settings’.

Disable the data saver: Path: Settings > Connections >Data usage > Data saver > Disable data saver (if enabled).

Reset network settings: Path: Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset network settings.

Galaxy device Auto restarts issue: Kindly use a genuine Samsung charger.
We always recommend using a genuine Samsung charger for charging your device.

There are two methods to disable the auto restart function
1- Tap on Settings> General management>Reset > Disable Auto restart (if enabled)> Auto restart disabled.
2- Tap on Settings> Battery and device care> Three dots> Automation> Auto restart at set times if enabled.

If you are facing this issue after installing any new application then uninstall that application.
Tap on Settings> Apps > desired app> Uninstall> Ok.

Update device software (If available): Settings > Software update > Download and install > Checking for software update > Software update available > Download > Downloading updates > Install now.

Reset settings: Tap on Settings>General Management> Reset and then tap on Reset settings.

I already visited the samsung mobile service center, they tried with software but fail. Asked me to change the motherboard which is not acceptable (cost 9k). Now what can I do @ms_member10

Same happened with me
They said replace the motherboard
I saw some yt video, removing the cpu and again inserting it, to fix the issue
On asking about it, they said only local shop does so and it may lead to phone dead too
Now, don't know what to do

I also have the same issue in my Samsung F23 6gb/128gb. Hotspot, wifi not turning ON, initially there was problem with Bluetooth also but it resolved after resetting all settings in general management option. Wifi/Hotspot are still disable. I have done factory reset 2 times, but problem still persists. Phone hungs up and restarts several times automatically and stocks into reboot cycle. Phone gets hot and downgrade to 4G from 5G. Battery temperature reaches upto 42°C and CPU temperature upto 70°C.
These all issues came after ONE UI 6.1 update. Samsung, please rectify these issues at the earliest.
I reached Samsung Customer care near me. They updated the software after factory data reset but problem not resolved by them. They said it's motherboard is to be changed which will cost around Rs. 9700.

Dear Samsung, seeing so many reported cases including mine why you people are not accepting this as known issue related to your UI_6.1 you people knows better that no temporary solution can fix this issue except the upcoming UI upgrade .and you are having enough logs to check and verify the corrective measures to fix this issue in next UI release
