To the Samsung Software Engineering Team,
This is a formal demand to rectify the unacceptable software-locking of the Always On Display (AOD) on the Galaxy M15 5G.
The M15 5G features a Super AMOLED panel and a massive 6,000mAh battery. There is zero technical justification for withholding AOD. By disabling this, Samsung is intentionally delivering an inferior experience and wasting the hardware we paid for.
This must be corrected in One UI 8.5 for the following reasons:
Product Integrity: Third-party AOD apps lead to battery drain and screen burn-in. Samsung is responsible for this risk by refusing to provide a native, optimized solution.
Hardware Capability: A Super AMOLED screen is literally designed for AOD. Keeping it locked is a waste of technology.
Market Equality: We will not accept "tier-limiting" on hardware that explicitly supports the feature.
Unlock the AOD toggle in the One UI 8.5 stable release. Failure to do so will be seen as a breach of consumer trust, forcing us to move to competitors who respect their users.
Correct this now.
- A Dedicated Galaxy M15 User
⚠️ Note:
Agar aap bhi chahte hain ki Samsung hamari flagship features par "locks" lagana band kare, toh please is post ke teen dots (⋮) par click karein aur "Accept as Solution" chunein. Hum jitne "Accepts" ikkatthe karenge, hamari awaaz utni hi door tak jayegi! 💙🚀

There is no valid reason to Not give AOD in the A/M/F1x series phones(except Gatekeeping), all of these use Super AMOLED displays, and can easily run AOD, they'll probably say that is not possible because these phones don't support Dynamic Refresh Rate. If the Galaxy F41or even the 10 year old Galaxy Phones with 60Hz Super AMOLED displays can run AOD without any issues and with Minimal Battery Drain, these phones definitely can. Samsung pls give us AOD in the next update.
