what's the point of getting amoled phone?

My new samsung A15 doesn't have an AOD option, the phone has an amoled screen. One of the main reasons for buying this phone was for AOD. Now its not there.Third party apps work like trash.

I wonder what the probable reason can be for not giving this feature.

The store is not accepting my phone return.They say there is nothing they can do.

Any tips that can help me return the phone?

Edit: I learnt about somethings called variable refresh rate, screen burning etc.So basically the panel of A15 is not good enough to have AOD while optimising the battery and avoiding screen burn. lol

Download activity launcher and then open it and search aod you will find the clock style app in which the aod activity is there click there it didn't work for me but you should try

Found it, same interface as yous.But what to do now? It says staritng then nothing happens

Do you know the probable reason behind it? Is it a hardware issue or something like that? Like is the phone's amoled panel somewhat weaker and more prone to be burned out during use than other amoled phones? Or its just samsung is neglecting us not to give software support 😕

Samsung is not giving because they don't want that we experince features available in premium phones but a15 5g when charging shows aod

Bro same here, my F15 also has amoled screen but no always on display🙄🤥

But in 2020, the M21 sold for Rs 12k had Always On display
but now Samsung has discontinued it in the latest device

I had f23 but it had TFT display so I bought f15 for AMOLED screen so that I can use Always on display but........🥲

I think the a15 still has roots from the One UI core version that was present in previous phones like the a14. Because some features that are in a25 and higher models are not in this phone. If the core word is not seen in the settings, it is because the extension core was lost in the One UI 6 version in all phones (such as the a14 that I have). I think AOD is a software feature and may be added with future updates. I hope so, and I have helped
