Hi Samsung SA

Based on what's happening with the s22 update progress, you will losing loyal Samsung users/owners and that will be because of your neglect to service Africa region with the same priority as the other regions.

Please forward this to Samsung HQ and let them know that me for one, I will NOT be purchasing another Samsung based on you lack to acknowledge Africa region as a priority not just for updates but functionality that other regions have.

Absolutely frustrating and down right unfair treatment.

It is really frustrating. I have tried to raise this issue many times but others seems to be on the Samsung's side or tries to defend them.

I mean S22 is a flagship device released only last year but with Samsung the only device that is prioritized is the flagship released on that particular year. It is even worse if you live in Africa because even when the previous year's medels receive the update in other regions, ours comes after weeks and sometimes more than a month later.

Je commence à détester Samsung pour sa méthode de déploiement des mises à jour. L'Afrique est toujours la dernière à recevoir les mises à jour. J'ai un S22 qui date d'un an, et jusqu'à présent, aucune mise à jour n'est disponible. Les autres pays ont reçu One UI 6 il y a déjà une à deux semaines. C'est le même scénario chaque année.

I've been a samsung member for decades, and I'm tired of being the last to receive updates. My daughter is using IOS, and she gets her update in time. I'm also considering moving to IOS

It's really annoying cause apparently now they are focusing on other devices below the S22 in other regions and we still haven't gotten anything!! Honestly makes me pissed and considering Google Pixel for my next phone 🤦

The should have done the S23, 22 and 21 series in one month

December should have been for the Z and Fold followed by A series

This entire rollout is a mess.

I personally don't have a flagship but the way Samsung is going about right now and the fact they promising 5 years of updates with their 2023 range of devices and beyond

A MESS ...

It doesn't help that they have several variations of the same model with different CSC's across regions.

They'll never get up to Apples level
